  • Road tests
    (Appointment Required, Schedule Online ) Non-commercial road tests are conducted on Wednesdays. Upon availability Motorcycle road test available May - September if weather permits on Tuesdays. Upon availability Click Online to schedule an appointment for a road test.
  • Knowledge tests
    Must start the test(s) at least 30 minutes before closing.
  • Vehicle inspections
    TRAILERS: By appointment. Please see available DMV clerk to schedule an appointment. (Inspections conducted at Bar Harbor/Ports and Harbors) VEHICLES: By appointment. Please see available DMV clerk to schedule an appointment. NOTICE: This office is located in the same building as the Court; therefore, you must go through a security check in order to enter the DMV. Please make sure you have all the required documents before entering the building. For individuals taking a road test, this means the current vehicle registration, current vehicle insurance and driving permit.
