Florida's Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles gives you 30 days to update your address on both your driver license or ID card and your title and registration. You can change your address online through the MyDMV Portal or in person at a local office. (Name changes, by contrast, require an office visit.)

Changing the address on your license also updates your electronic title. A printed title keeps showing the old address unless you apply for a new one (form HSMV 82040), and FLHSMV says a new registration must be issued after the change (form HSMV 82101). FLHSMV's page does not list fees; check with the agency or your local office.
